The Georgie Gust Exhibit
What if you had such severe schizophrenia that your life was just one hallucination after another? And what if people kept trying to drag you back out of those hallucinations, to prove that you weren’t living in reality, and that reality was nothing more than a psych hospital? Would you go? Would you make that leap back into reality, leave such a vivid life, for ceramic walls and metal gurneys?

Hi friends and fans! Biscuit bag it; flag it, blip, bam, and boom! Nonsense, at first, I wasn’t going to post this video, but I had the time and the space, the room to groom and take a broom to this series of clips and stir up the pot a bit and happy to break the fear and now happy to present this archival piece, Symptomatica. Interesting fact: Do you know what PCTS means? Porphyria. Cutanea. Tarda. Symptomatica. Nonetheless, this film has little to do with that, but I come back on this joint, from the past, posted on a #TBT: Throwback Thursday, 2 April 2015, so check it out! Sometimes our lives have to be completely shaken up, changed, and rearranged to relocate us to the place we’re meant to be. And so, this is a demo film unreleased until now while I had a few minutes to edit slightly out of sync and sped up without being fed up, so heads up as I’d documented the day, beginning with a brief dissociations outside the real world through a rather manic Monday on a Friday. Part 2 documents the recording of a melancholic writing session from Second Alibi: The Banality of Life, the prequel or sequel to Jonathan Harnisch: An Alibiography. Shot by Jonathan Harnisch (voila, c’estmoi) on the 13th of July 2014, from the film archive vault at Harnisch Productions.

Pump up your speakers! When I get in my car, I want to drive until I find what I’m looking for. Maybe it’s purpose or maybe it’s a new start or maybe it’s just a sky with unclouded stars.

Versatile at the very least, perhaps redundant. Life is short. Dance often.
